[Moonlight Difference]

Beautiful, please read review

I almost never play these kinds of games, I just don't like them. But Moonlight Difference is a game that can take the tried and true formula and push it to a new bar. The reason I like it, (the first difference game Iv'e ever liked) is it engaged me with absolutly beautiful art that tells a short, but sweet and compelling story. The music is worth mention also, it's like it was made just for the art and story (as it should be). This game is one of the few that insists games really can be art. And as far as art goes, this is a beautiful peice that deserves recognition and second play through.

I found myself truly admiring the art style while playing, and wondering what happens next in the story. Have you ever seen a painting that triggered an emotional response? Something that really stands out among the rest? This game is that painting. I really look forward to seeing more artwork from you in the near future, and I hope this review was enough to make you feel recognised and appreciated for your hard work in the making of Moonlight Difference.

Somebody acually uploaded a beta that has been worked on, cared about, and is not just some freaking stick dude with a speech bubble jumping from place to place on the screen while little fat red line come out of his 'fist' as he turns yellow and things stop making sense in the animation (or game) becuase the six year old faggot decided to whine to his mother till he got flash then torture us at newgrounds with his childish shit. But yeah, this makes me happy, something that you uploaded that you want an opinion on, and its not titled "My first animationz so be nice rawrawrawr" It isnt a peice of crap! I'm so thrilled! You sir, have made my day. Ok, so my review...the part you probably care about more. I really like the single wall jump mechanic, it adds to the mobility and character, without over doing it by making him be able to perforn the wall jump fifty million times like spider man. Idk what your going to do in the final game at all so take this with a grain of salt...but the gems in the trees, no just gems period dont work. Also the gems, or whatever item will be collected, should have a purpose in the game other than adding to a number at the top of the screen. I took notice to the powers icon in the top left. Im interested to see where that goes. I really think this beta shows a start to something, that if taken in the right direction could be really great. One more thing, polish the art. (Mainly the backround, that could use an overhaul, needs more depth). But this is awsome, so keep working on it.

I can't say that I follow the first half of your review, but the rest is good advice. Currently, I don't know what I'm going to do with gems. Maybe when you reach 50 or something, you'll earn a free life.

Good but some flaws

I like the smooth animations and desructive envirnments, but they only delay the repetitivness(splg) by a minute or two. Try adding some variations
